Doctors vs guns

    You've gotta love the statistics.

    Doctors vs. Gun Owners

    Doctors

    (A)  The number of physicians in the  U.S.  is

    700,000.

    (B)  Accidental deaths caused by Physicians

    per year are

    120,000.

    (C)  Accidental deaths per physician
    is

    0.171

Statistics courtesy of  U.S.  Dept of
    Health  and  Human Services.

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    Now think about this:

    Guns

    (A)  The number of gun owners in the  U.S.

    is

    80,000,000.

    (Yes, that's 80 million)

    (B)  The number of accidental gun deaths

    per year, all age groups,

    is

    1,500.

    (C)  The number of accidental deaths

    per gun owner

    is

    .0000188

    Statistics courtesy of FBI

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    So,  statistically, doctors are approximately

9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Remember, 'Guns don't kill people, doctors do.'

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

FACT:  NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN,

    BUT

Almost everyone has at least one doctor.
This means you are over 9,000 times more likely to be killed by a doctor as by a gun owner!!!

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    Please alert your friends

    to this

    alarming threat.

    We must ban doctors

before this gets completely out of hand!!!!!

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Out of concern for the public at large,

    We withheld the statistics on

    lawyers

for fear the shock would cause

people to panic and seek medical attention!

You should link to your source when you simply regurgitate their work rather than expressing thoughts of your own.  Not doing so demonstrates a lack of ethics and intellectual capacity.

The link you should have included: http://www.rense.com/general62/gns.htm

Intentional injuries (Suicide, Violence, War, etc.) is only at  2.84%

OnusonusIs is right, Guns compare it to all the other hospital deaths. Doctor mishaps cost a much higher per cent age of deaths.

That is why Doctor Wears those masks, in case the patience dies, nobody knows who did.

      Cardiovascular diseases 29%
      B Infectious and parasitic diseases 23.04 %
      A.1 Ischemic heart disease 12.64%
      C Malignant neoplasms (cancers) 12.49 %
      A.2 Cerebrovascular disease (Stroke) 9.66%
      B.1 Respiratory infections 6.95 %
B.1.1 Lower respiratory tract infections 6.81%
      D Respiratory diseases 6.49 %
      E Unintentional injuries 6.23%
      B.2 HIV/AIDS 4.87 %
D.1 Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease 4.82%
      – Perinatal conditions 4.32%
      F Digestive diseases 3.45 %
      B.3 Diarrhea diseases 3.15 %
Let go out to all the hospital and string them up for all  their honest mistakes

After we give the Doctors the death sentence, who do we call in case of an accident happens to us.

So what's the point of this topic anyway? Comparing apples and oranges? How about compare the number of lives saved by the medical field vs. lives lost due to medical malpractice each year? Or Compare the number of deaths caused by assault weapons vs. handguns/hunting rifles/shotguns each year? Would that make better sense?

That was somewhat my (silly) point too, we need doctors, we do not need guns.

In case the patience dies, the Doctors don't wears those masks,  to hide from who did it.

Hey, do you speak German? No? Well you can thank a bunch of gun wielding vets.

Do you speak Russian? No? well you can thank a bunch of Nuclear Trident sub-sailors.

Take away all their guns and what do you got? Peaceful solution and less doctors too

Yes once, many countries did supported Regan’s cold war with Russia. There are 200 countries with US military base in them today, who is most hated Country now?.

The countries speaking other languages other than English are more civilized such as Dutch, Portuguese French Spanish the list goes of countries that are more civil than English speaking countries
