   America seems to be losing constitutional rights slowly chip by chip,not all at once. That makes it so the slumbering general public has no idea what is going on until all of their rights as a free people are gone. All of our congressional reps need to be "Bitch Slapped". I would like to see them rounded up and tried for treason but I will settle for them all being Fired.  This is proof they fear us.

   I disagree with you here...
   Especially in the light of Loughner shooting Giffords.
   Then there were those threatening letters sent with white powder in them...
   
   Right to free speech does not include harming public officials.
   
   The maniacs made this bill neccessary.
   
   And it specifically says: KNOWINGLY. Slippery slope, yeah...but who wants to see another rep shot?

   I understand what you are trying to say but, what happened to rep Giffords was an unfortunate incident. In a country of 300 million plus people this is one incident. Would you prefer all of our reps get "Pope mobiles". The political class already thinks they are above us,that's a problem. They vote for crap like this and now blowback is illegal? Protesting like back in the Vietnam era is now illegal? WTF? Corporate lobbyists have no problem accessing federal officials but we do. It's sad,this country is in full "Grab your ankles mode" and as a nation we do NOTHING. We all need to remember,We let this stuff happen.

   Our politicians watch what is happening in Syria right now and they are envious, they wish they could do the same thing to us. And with laws like their HR 374, they will be able to do just that; break up demonstrations with deadly military force. Mass arrests, roundups of hundreds of thousands at a time, marched off to camps to starve to death.

   Free speech does have it's advantage and disadvantage. As long as free speech doesn't bring harm to others. Insighting hatred towards a pareticular group of people is unacceptable. Also, I dare anyone to make death threats to the President or any other public official.

   We always boast about the luck to be living in a democracy, maybe the "democracy" we experienced was only the fruit of our imagination and as the elite is witnessing the awakening of the people's power, an itching urge to reduce it ends up in congress, where the majority votes yeahs against us!

   The real deal is the dollar as world's currency. Iran is shaking the boat. Can't be mentioned, people might start asking who is running the empire. Israel is the US ruling class red-herring, all about nukes when really about the dollar. My opinion - Israel the dupe and Casus belli for US squeeze on Iran.
