There are dozens of networking sites around where one can join solely for the purpose of making friends. Some of the popular ones are friendfinder, fropper, hi5, friendster and perfspot. You can develop friends by mailing and chatting and if both parties agree fix a meeting. But beware because online friends are not always what they say they are!
you can meet a friend by interacting on the internet with family or friends you already know or you can find a way through the hub system
