how are marriage laws unfair to women, what difference does the ratio of women:men make to the marriage laws?
Because more women are needed for population growth, as I've answered elsewhere, as far as Mother Nature is concerned, the norm is for men to have a harem, of course, that doesn't fit in with the way human society has evolved, but we seem to be doing all right in the reproducing stakes without it.
