Would you get an ultrasound to see what is your baby's gender or would you wait till its born?
in India pre-natal sex determination is illegal under PNDT Act. because killing of girl child is very frequent in this country. generally i would say, there is no problem in knowing the sex of the child if you are not in a mood to kill your baby girl.
an ultra sound because you don't want to name youre child some wierd boy/girl name and find out it has junk and a oft spot. that would be kind of a big suprise.
I think I would be curious to find out. I can't imagine asking myself what sex the baby is for nine months! I am too impatient for that.
