Do you hide certain knowledge from your children?
I am not speaking about adult relationship as it is already known that we hide thing from each other.But what about the children.Is it lost or gain to do so?
I think lots of parents censor things for their children, because their young minds aren't ready for everything out there in this big, wide world yet as kids. Definitely a gain, because you expose a kid more to reality as they become older ands more able to cope.
i grew up in a house of secrets. i refused to let my kids do so. right or wrong, they heard about their mom's mistakes, triumphs, blessings. although they too have grown up far from perfect, they all are true to themselves. for that i am grateful.
