These things can take a long time to get over... often a couple of years.

Keep busy, get out there and do things and remind yourself that you are your best friend.

    There is no easy answer.

Everyone is different but you need to do something to get your mind off of the negative.  Be sure its something that you have to be so engrossed in that you can't think of anything else.  It helps!  Good luck

I have found that laughter helps.  Everybody tells you to get over it, but everybody is not you.  You should do it at your own pace, but don't wallow in it, if you can help it.  Don't worry about what you don't have, but be thankful for what you do have, and go and enjoy it!

spend time with friends and positive people. do the things that you love to do. treat yourself, be good to yourself.

healing takes times, so be gentle with yourself. often its hardest to move on after a broken relationship because we feel negatively about ourselves, like we did something wrong, or we aren't good enough.  take time to learn to love yourself and know that no matter what, you WILL find what you are looking for in life, someone who is perfect for you and who loves you for everything you are.

Get back into the flow of life as soon as you are able.  Don't beat yourself up, won't help get them back.  If it was something you did, make up your mind to not repeat it (use the memory of how much it hurts right now to help remind you not to).  If it wasn't something on your end, realize that the same traits are not in all people and the next relationship needs to be approached and entered with a "clean slate" to have a reseaonable chance of success.
