I struggled with jealousy for years. I learned to deal with it by understanding its meaning to me and what it is in psychology, sociology, and literature. I don't mean go back to school, just type it in your browser jealousy+psychology for instance. Wikipedia is a good place to start.

Then, I learned what envy was. Then I compared / contrasted the two realizing that I wasn't jealous, I was envious in many cases.

Then I looked at myself. I made a positive list of qualities of me. Or, in a sense defined me, which is on going for every individual, I think. Next, I made friends with myself with the attitude of acceptance.

As far as your ex talking and hanging with other girls. That will happen. Some of my ex's are married with families today and envy creeps in when I encounter them, but I sweep it out with examining 'positive me' real quickly, focus on the 'now,' and then enjoy the interaction with her for that moment.

I don't know if that helps or not. I had two cents and tossed it in.

that's a hard one. jealousy is usually a matter of lack of confidence or it's based on past experiences. if he is an honest caring person , then trust him to behave. talk to him because without conversation, your doomed to fail as a couple. words can help heal any problems you might have. just remember that if your a good person, it will be his loss if he losses you.

Leave the room, exit quickly when you see your ex talking to other girls.  It's a really uncomfortable situation for most, so try the 'out of sight out of mind' method for this situation.

The best way to get over being jealous regarding an ex is to get busy living your life!

If you are still watching or caring about what your ex is doing it means you haven't moved on.
Once you accept that relationship is over with then you open yourself up to be emotionally available to love and be loved by another.Your ex has moved on.
Your future lies ahead of you and not behind you!

    Best of luck!
