Often at times, you hear people say; The Devil is the cause.. My friend, God will forgive..  Only God knows how he got is wealth.. God knows why He has not bless me.. It goes on and on..
Is the Devil really the cause  ?
Did God say "Sin! I will forgive ?
Did the Bible not warn about Judging (Jealousy)  ?
You cannot blame God for being lazy... Because He said, I will bless the work of your hand..
Do something.. Am just saying... Being backward isn't always God's plan.

Not so.  God is Jealous.  Jealousy is not the same thing as greed.  Greed is born of hatred, or vice-versa.  Jealousy isn't.   Jealousy is a reaction to possible loss of something or someone that belongs to you.   Greed is a manifestation of the desire to have something or someone who belongs to someone else.

You mean like when God commanded Christians to evangelize his Word to make converts?

I don't quite agree with you Brenda.. Jealousy is Hate..
Did you know that in the Bible Jesus used the word Fool..
The Bible also say thou shall not call anyone Fool.. As a matter of fact,
it says He who says thou Fool shall be cast into the lake of Hell..
Jesus as we know is our Lord and Personal Savior and He was without sin.
What am I trying to say ?
Is this, being angry for the right reason is not wrong.
God is our creator and He says He is a Jealous God..
We serve Him, and He has asked us that we should serve no one but Him. God was Jealous, (Angry.. Furious.. Wrath.. And Hate for those that refuse to do is will ) Remember it was before Jesus Christ our savior came.
Let me ask you this question... If God acted the way He did some thousand of years ago.. How many living soul will walk this earth ? Honest answer. I guess what am trying to say is that we servant of God no matter how strong we think we are we will eventually break to that sin that started like little seed..
Today you loose someone, and you are jealous, for him or who ever his with. Believe is sight will never be a very friendly sight.. Because it hurts..
Be angry and don't sin.. How many of us get angry and don't sin..
Hence the Bible says if your leg leads you to sin.. Cut it off..
Plus, the greatest of all God's law is love your name as yourself

          Hellp Brenda,
I agree and disagree at the same time;   As far as human nature goes , dealing with relationships ; jelously is the misconception that we "OWN" something or somebody which we are afraid of loosing.

Our misconception of the ability or oportunity to share the joy OF something or somebody; over estimating our rights to it feeds this thing we call jelousy.

However, I agree that God is a jelous God caus ...  God KNOWS who everything belongs to.  And we evidently don't.

Your God needs to work out his fear , angry and jealous issues before he can master me.

Well ...  a lot of people says that God has anger issues, I can't say anything; except that I haven't seen it!

It seems like when my boys were younger and they were being punished, they might have said that I had gotten angry ????  But was that what I was really doing?

Castlepalomaposted 11 years agoin reply to this

Punishment and rewards is a way much like the carrot and the stick. Reward the good Christian who worships and obeys his laws and punish the others who do not. Most people on earth, which are not aware of the bible in the first place, are they lucky?

Jerami, I wouldn't quite agree with you more..
You not being angry, you were just a mother that cared
and so much you want to see you children grow in the best way.

Then God's angry, to fear God, or to be  jealous of most of us people is not helpful

God is a super natural being.. He is Immortal.. We cannot compare our self with Him. Jerami is right.. The Bible says in Revelation the last chapter.. Do not had not subtract.. There are things God has made so.. We can't question Him or His judgement.

The Bible is not the dictionary.. The dictionary is not always our best resort in understanding God's word.. It is misleading..

My friend.. The a word has so many meaning.. You should use your head to see how it fits in a word... It is that simple.. You are a christian did the Bible not warn about Jealousy, You should read your Bible and please when you do, rely on the Holy spirit to direct you not your human knowledge..
Read Galatians 5 verse 19 to 22... You make me really laugh I must say..

First off, I'm not your friend. Maybe you should look that word up too. lol
Yes, that's the problem. It has no literal understanding and is completely open to one's ignorant interpretation.
Been there, done that and while I DID that, I was honest with myself. Which led me to hold NO belief whatsoever that any "G/god" exists. It also led to this understanding-

                (a) Life doesn't require any knowledge of any G/god to be understood.
                (b) Life doesn't require any knowledge of any G/god to be lived.
Yes the two sentences above are just that simple.
And where exactly did you get the understanding that I'm Christian?
I'm sure it would, if I wanted read the bible for the fourth time in my life, but that's not about to happen considering I already know and understand that it's a mixture of history and mythology, which is something YOU fail to realize as of yet.

People feel better when there is someone to blame. So they blame the Devil.
They tell them self that Christianity is tough.. An excuse for being lazy..
In the end, you will realize that these people whom can't face their fears. who feel the Christian is an umbrella that says you must be save if you come in, who hide behind the Bible after they've committed their evil did,  they are Bench warmers in Church, they have the slightest clue of what the Bible says..
They need to be told the cold truth.. You cannot receive unless you give.. You will not eat if you can't work.. God doesn't give us temptations we cannot handle, we yield because we silently crave for it. It is are quest that leads us the devils trap.. Remember He's a roaming lion seeking whom to devour.. I feel they should be man enough to face their fear, not quoting scriptures they don't understand.. You want to be better.. Be better, you don't have to pick a fight or blame someone because He has a life that feels too good to be true.. God wants to bless us.. Find out why you are where you are..
