Stay in the relationship or live the single life?
23 year old guy. Been in a relationship for 1 year now. Awesome girl. Everything is good. ¨
However the girl wants to study abroad. So the guy is left with these options.
Stay with the girl and move down with her or breakup and live the singe life.
A bit personal to be asked to strangers. LOL Hmm, I'd personally go with the single life, but that's just my opinion. Whatever your heart tells you man.
If it were me, I would go with the single life. Relationships are glorified power struggles that men inevitably lose.
If you can make it work where she's studying with your own life, then move with her. If it goes against your career, education, and personal goals - then don't. Everything has to be weighed, before making such a big decision. If you feel you can't move, then talk to her.
See if you can convince her to stay or to compromise. Traveling, only when your both able to. If it looks like it isn't possible to make things work, then break up.
Good luck. I hope that helps.
Age 23 is still very young. Your girlfriend is doing exactly what people your age should be doing, following their dreams, discovering who they are, what they want and need out of life...etc
Apparently she has decided she is going to study abroad (with or without you).
Maybe it's time you decided what it is you want to do with YOUR life and then go pursue (your own dreams). My vote is for the single life. Best of luck!
