Do you respect those who do not respect you?
I have noticed so many times the attitude of some people. They feel they should only be respected they care how you feel hence this question.
It would be amazing to......You cannot and rather should not control what other people choose to do, that's their life and their karmas. You are only responsible of the choices you make and responsible for your own actions.
If somebody is disrespectful towards you, so be it, never lose your character.
Respecting others irrespective of how they treat you will not only allow you to feel better about yourself, but, will in the long run gain you the respect of others. Treat others the way you would want them to treat you, as the good book says.
It takes a strong, confident person to respect someone who treats them badly. It is hard and it takes a strong will, but I would prefer to have that edge.
It is difficult to respect people who do not respect you.. having said that...if they have that kindof attitude does not mean we reciprocate in that way.. either they will change their attitude and be more positive.. or it is better to cut ties with such people if it affects you adversely..
