Stalkers - how do we block them?
I have the ip number of a stalker. How can I stop that person from reading my hubs? Any way to block on here that I missed?
Yes, you should report this violation to HubPages right away: http://hubpages.com/contact_us/
You can't block them on your own, but you can--as JS Matthew said--report them, but I'm not sure if hubpages will IP-ban a viewer. It might be a good idea to change your username, if possible?
There's a function that a webmaster can do if someone is in violation of a TOS agreement or something like that - it's essentially a global IP ban (within this website). If the guy is smart, though, he can change his IP address. Let's assume that he isn't that savvy and just forward this information to the webmaster (as a violation). Be sure to include his IP and the nature of the infraction (stalking).

Hi Hubbers,After hours of exhaustive searches through webpages and attempting the steps on various HubPage articles that say how to add a HubPages sitemap to no avail, I finally found a service that hosts sitemaps, automatically submits it to Google Webmaster Tools, and updates it regularly....

Since I finished the apprenticeship, and after umpteen updates and changes made on HP, my traffic has never picked up. I can't remember the last time I saw any more than 40 views a day. My average at the moment is more like 30. The articles I worked long and hard to produce, sit there doing nothing...
