Does courtship, no matter how long, guaranty a successful marriage?
What are the challenges that fast disintegrate marriages? Shouldn't they have been sorted out during courtship?
I do not think so - courtship is only a way for people t get to know each other well but a successful marriage - (is a different ball game altogether) - requires more than that. It requires a great deal of effort on the part of both the partners. One could have a great courtship but without effort in a marriage it cannot guarantee success.
Thanks Rikabothra for your honest response. If courtship does not guaranty successful marriage, should it be discounted? That is, should intending couple marry without courtship?
