That is a very difficult question, but I am going to say the present. The past is done and over with can't go back, and the future, well, who knows if we even have a future?

There's an old saying "You can ruin the future by worrying about the past and not living in the present"

The most important should be present as it determines the past as well as future.

I now firmly believe that what is important is THE PRESENT ... will all those insights, Indeed, today is a gift ... that's why it is called  THE PRESENT ...

Oh oh ... I haven't watched Kung Fu Panda smile

I agree with all those on here that say it is the present that is most important.

If we wish to change or amend the past, we must do something in the future to fix or alter the past.

The future is dictated by what is done in the present. Therefore, it is the present that is of the most important in this regard.

However, my true feelings is that they are all one in the same. I hope that isn't too cliche or a cop out answer.

As a student of History, Archaeology, Astronomy, Evolution's Biology or Geology ... The Past in its Relative relevance to the Present, and Future ... is all there is ... thus, Past is critically important.
As Theoretical Physicist, Oracle, Astrologer, Astronomer, or Palmist ... the Future, remains most important ...

But as a Human, the Present is "all" that counts ... For we always live in the Present  ... what happened, has its limited applications ... and
Theories, are mere prophesizings ... nothing but wild, or at times, calculated Speculations.

I would need to say the past has a presence in the present which dictates the future ... I would argue they are all equally important. I'm not sure you could separate them to distinguish which is more important.

I believe all are equally important, as the past influences the future which is our present. smile
