Why do we believe our partners hear what we mean out of what we say?
My husband knows exactly what I mean by the way I phrase something, or the tone of my voice. We've been together for 25 years, so this may have something to do with it.
Your tone of voice, body language, eye contact. All depending how long you have been together. I believe that anticipation has a lot to do with it.
Because we have unrealistic expectations. We shouldn't make our partners have to interpret our meaning, We have to be conscious enough and brave enough to stand in our truth; to speak clearly about our feelings and needs.
