I think stepping out of the box a bit and doing something I would normally never do would improve my life just because I'm so shy and don't really get out much. That's why I hope to travel and do things I've never done before this upcoming year. Instead of making resolutions, I think it's important to come up with a list of places or things to do to try to gain new experience that can help you grow and change.

I don't know if this would count since it's a temporary problem...but for the last year I've been planning a wedding and I CAN NOT WAIT until next year when I can walk down the aisle, meet my groom, say I DO and then off to honeymoon. Not only is a wedding mentally draining, but it's also extremely financially draining as well. My finance and I are paying for it ourselves. Don't get me wrong, I count my blessings and I'm so glad that I've been able to pay for it thus far, but watching my account dwindle every month is a little much for me. I've never been more broke in my life. It's like every time I turn around, something for this wedding needs to be paid for...dress, photographer, something. I know it's partially my fault because I have detailitis and I like things a certain way, but if my fiance would have listened to me, we could have had a really nice (and less expensive) wedding in Cancun with a few of our close family and that's it. But no, he must have a traditional wedding...this money draining machine.

I have been working full time..forever. In a little over 3 weeks time I will be cutting my hours at work which I hope will improve my hours. I currently work around 45 hours a week, and with traveling I am away from home for over 50 hours a week. As from 25th January 2012 I will be working 20 hours a week. I will be able to spend more time at home and some much needed quality time with my family. It will make such a difference to my life and I can't wait............I'm counting the days.

Exercise.  I hate it, I am the original couch potato and perfectly content to sit and write or read, or do art projects.  But too many years of that is now becoming very costly to my healthy so 2012 better be the year I get my  #%$ in shape or else.
