What do you find the most annoying things your friends do?

Sometimes we face the situations when our friends do annoying things all the time, for instance: they schedule an appointment with you and when the time comes your friend calls and says he/she will be 20-30 minutes late and eventually shows up an hour late.... What about your experience?

mine is when my so called 'friends' don't support anything I do. I started dating my fiance my freshman year of highschool and all of my friends said nothing good about him or anything I did so we no longer talk. So when they won't stop talking about dumb stuff or when they don't support my decisions.

Generally speaking, friends need to be good listeners for one another. This means that no ONE person dominates the conversation in either a twosome or a group.

I have good friends who occupy the polar opposites of the political spectrum. They LOUDLY occupy those positions. I've no problem with this, and will gamely debate their stances on the topic-du-jour whenever I'm around them. I like being a sounding board/devils advocate in most debates.

The problem comes when these friends are at the same function (or posting polemics on Facebook). Both sides seek out support from me, and no matter what my personal feelings are on the subject, I always feel like I have to play Switzerland to try to keep everything civil.

I respect their passion for discussion, but sometimes wish I wasn't constantly put in the position of ref.

My closest friends and I are just generally annoying in any way we can be. The life of teenagers is always to make someone crack; then all laugh when they do. Or at least in our circle it is.

My friends tend to hang on to old worn-out inside jokes that we used to have fun with. Get some new material, guys, come on...lol

Aside from what you said about setting a date with you and not coming on time, another annoying thing is when they schedule something for you without you knowing. Whether your friend has work or not, even if you are the best of friends, we all have our schedules and the least we can do is ask them first if they will be available for any event or talk, or even a party, before saying yes for them.

It actually irritate me when they want to be with you every moment. Kicking your personal life away and do interfere in every matter of your life. This really annoys me. Friend should know that they have a separate place in our's life and they cannot replace anyone close to our heart.

I have a friend who always keeps on forgetting things. I remember once she invited me over for dinner at her place and when I called on her, she was out watching a movie. Apparently she forgot about the whole dinner thing and she was so embarrassed about. I felt really bad that day and thought it's enough with her. But, she;s just like that and that's the way she is. And we are still good friends. Afterall that's what friends are. smile But yes, she really freaks me out at times.

I definitely agree that friends who are late or friends who bail out on you at the last minute annoy me greatly...but also friends who are rude to other people I consider friends.
