How should you handle parental pressure ias a single.
How should you handle a parent who wants you to marry at all cost even though you know you are not ready? They are putting the pressure on for a variety of reasons. Some of the reasons may include 1. They want to be a grandparent. 2. They want to keep up with friends and other family members whose children are married. 3. They feel ashamed. 4. They are worried about you etc etc.
You know you are grown when you take the reins of your life. In fact life is a personal journey. It's not about what anyone wants for you it's about what you want for yourself.
Basically you have 3 options: a) Have a serious talk with them and let them know it bothers you. b) Play it off using your sense of humor. or c) Distance yourself by not coming around or talking with them as much.
