It could be anywhere where you are able to express yourself or  enjoy the time. Selecting a particular  place  for a first date is perhaps irrelevant and only thing important  is that how far you go in  your first date with someone.

I would suggest a concert (probably not heavy metal) where too much talking is not required - takes the pressure off.  Then a date to the ice cream store or the coffee shop.  Hee hee!

A first date place depends on the age. If the daters are young, a public place, such as a family setting (i.e., ff restaurant or mall), would be appropriate. Older people should go anywhere nice, except their homes or other isolated places. Just keep it decent and avoid situations that could be regretted later.

    1. The beach. It is serene, calm, soothing, romantic.
    2. A nature park. It is beautiful, you are one with nature.
    3. Zoo. It is fun.

My first date was watching a movie.

That provide us alot of opportunities to communicate with each other about the movies and led to other types of conversation.

It is a good way to give a head start on communication.

A park is a nice place for a first date as well as someplace with an artistic flair, such as a museum or art studio. Art sparks a great conversation.

Depends on the type of person you would be taking out.

I personally would rather go out to the local park, or zoo and be quite happy.

I have never been big on going out to the movies.

I did a hub on dates with some ideas . Rather than be boring & go to the movies why not do something where you can get to know each other .
Go kayaking or a picnic somewhere , visit a zoo ..... Be interesting !
