All of them imply an abnormal situation. I assume you meant a romantic relationship. Why does it have to be recovery? Why can't it be joyful reminiscence of what was?
Surely there must have been something good about it..
As long as you are thinking recovery, then it cannot happen..the very fact of thinking of recovering brings you to that frame of mind..a quicksand..
