Is Love and lust the same thing?
What is your definition of love and lust?
I think they are very different. Love is something you build upon. As a personal nonbeliever in love-at-first-sight, I think that initial emotion that one experiences for another is related to lust. I think you can be strongly attracted, and you can desire to be closer to that person and get to know them, but I don't think it's love yet. I think love comes from getting to know someone, learning about their values, beliefs, character flaws and their positive attributes. I think it comes from truly knowing someone. That is not to say that lust can not also be there when you love someone. I think lust is the more physical side, rather than the emotional.
