Have you ever lied to your best friend to get out of a committment? If so what was was the lie.
Nope ~ all of my friends and I have a brutally honest communication system. We don't lie about the little things, the big things, or anything because we can tell!
If one of us tries to lie to the other we call "Bull Sh*t!"
We also love and accept each other just as we are, so there is really no point in it. If my friend want to cancel on me to do something else, or because she just doesn't feel like it ~ so be it, I'll still love her and visa-versa.
Feelings are hurt less by honesty than when you find out you were lied to. It keeps the trust intact and allows you to know that you hang out with people of integrity.
So far, it never happen. I always believe in truthfulness when comes to best friend. When you start a lie, it will begin to roll and end up you lying all your life. So, instead do not let it begins.
