Is a "rent-a-date" service a good buiness idea?
I dont mean escorting but renting prosprective dates for like an hour or a day.
No, I don't think it is good business idea at all. I really don't believe in paying someone to be your date. Although there are some people that might be willing to attend an event with them, I don't think there would be enough takers to make it worthwhile.
Yes! Pay to go on dates until you meet someone you like. Why not?
I imagine there are some "legitimate" escort services or ones where the client decides what they want. Even those that are basically a front for prostitutes/gigilos would gladly take someone's money for simply a night on the town.
Even if it were not your intention to offer sexual services most likely you'd have some employees willing to cross the line with clients behind your back in order to earn extra money. Naturally if they got busted you would be arrested as the owner of the business.
Staring a speed dating service or starting your own online dating site are less likely to potentially put you hot water. There's a company in the Chicago area called, "It's just lunch", The company arranges for members to have blind date lunches.

I'm just asking to see how many of you single folks out there, wouldn't mind sharing your thoughts on what you think the perfect date should be like, in your own opinion. Or if you've already had it, then please...

Why are some writers reluctant to share ideas? Others are very willing. Is it a competitive thing?Internet writing is so different. Does fear of copying enter into the picture? What other factors?
