    Loss is apart of life. It helps us grow as people. For one to live without loss it may be possible but to truly live in my opinion one must have good and bad to draw experience and knowledge from.

    The reality is there are only 5 things people (need) to survive.
    ( Air ,Water. Food, Shelter, and Clothing). It's the law in most places. Everything else falls under the category of "it would be nice to have" or "desire/wants". Oddly enough one can have their basic "needs" met by being in prison.
    With regard to loss everyone of us is going to die. We just don't know how or when. Most of us will lose pets, family members, friends, classmates, neighbors, assoicates, or our significant other before our own turn to depart arrives.
    It's normal to grieve for awhile and then gradually our mind accepts the fact that they are gone but we now think about the good times we had with them. Memories often bring a smile or laughter.
    Those of us who refuse to move on with our lives are essentially cheating our loved ones who are still alive. You hear about a mother losing a child and never getting over it while her other children have in fact not only lost a sibling but their (mother) too.
    Excessive grieving is a selfish act which affects all the other (living) people in our lives whom we have chosen to neglect. You have to be (emotionally present) for those around you. Life is for the living!
