Why do some women feel the need to cake on make up?
I find women who wear little to none make up more appealing. I find them more attractive this way.
They may feel a little insecure about their looks or complexion. That was why I used to wear a lot when I was younger. Not only do most women look better and sometimes younger when they don't wear much but it's also better for their skin.
Good question; I wear very little and can't bear the feel of having layers on. But I imagine women that do cake it on either were raised to think the more the better OR they are so insecure about their looks they feel a need to cover up what they perceive as "flaws".
There are all kinds of reasons woman wear makeup. To bring out their best features or hide imperfections. To fit in with society or because they are insecure about their looks. Though in most cases, women don't need to go overboard, a little goes a long way.
