Do you think falling in love for the first makes the best impression?
When an individual falls in love for the first time do they use that experience to the greater benefit for future relationships when dating others?
One would hope that they would but sad to say that as a general rule unless that first time love is the real thing, people generally continue to make the same mistakes in the second relationship that they did in the first and in the third as they did in the second and so on and so on.
All is not lost though because sometimes people defy the odds against perfect mating when falling in love for the first time and WHAMO! it turns out to be the real thing. That is when love is so very beautiful to see between two people.
Unfortunately for a lot of people they allow their first failed relationship to impact them when approaching new relationships even if the "first love" happened while they were in their teens. Truth be told they had "unrealistic expectations" and still refuse to acknowledge it.
On the other hand most of us (fail our way to success) when it comes to relationships. When we finally find "the one" we realize that what we had in the past was not what we want or need today. The failed relationships are stepping stones towards finding our ideal mate. We learn more about (ourselves) with each relationship we have.
