Why are most hot guys gay or at least bisexual recently?
I noticed that most guys are gay or bisexual recently. It's not that am homophobic, but I don't understand why the hot ones mostly are gays. They can any girl they want! What makes them want some other dude to share intimacy with. Then again,am not homophobic. But I just don't understand the logic.
I'm not sure where you got your facts from. Nevertheless beauty or hotness is in the eye of the beholder. The reality is only about 5% of the male population in the U.S. is gay.
The New York Times published an article on this in December 2013. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/12/08/opini … l&_r=0
Having said that it is possible that someone could be attracted to men who tend to be gay.
The guys that end up on the cover of People Magazine's "The Sexiest Man Alive" are usually considered hot by (women) and tend to be straight. (Brad Pitt, Denzel Washington, George Clooney, Matthew McConaughey, Adam Levine, Channing Tatum, Johnny Depp, Nick Nolte, Mel Gibson) are just some examples of men who have won that crown in the past.
However as I pointed out only the "individual" can determine who looks "hot" to (them).
Re:" they can have girl they want! What makes them want some other dude to share intimacy with." That's who they are, they don't make the decision to choose men over women, that is who they are drawn to.
But i believe some people just follow the crowd.I knew straight guys who suddenly started dating guys.
They're probably not so much following the crowd but experimenting. They might be curious and to want explore those feelings.
The real people to ask that question to would be those same guys you mention. You also mention not being homophobic but for most people it is a struggle. Just try to stay open minded to the fact that it is our hormones that determine our sexual attractions. The mind may try to fight but may eventually give in to our internal urge.
Personally, I have no such urges but I liken it to pornography. Sometimes I get the urge to view porn but whither I give in or not depends on my ability to mentally override the urge. If porn becomes more accepting in society then my internal morals will have no buffer and friends might say "you don't watch porn, whats wrong with you?
Similarly, the more homosexuality becomes normal in a society it will be the more easier it is for our lower urges to override the irrationality of our thoughts. African countries that are buffering themselves against the normalization of homosexuality now are doing it for the wrong reason. There is a level at which our hormone levels cannot be overridden. To criminalize everyone with abnormal hormone levels is wrong because it may include a very large percentage of the population not just Gays.
