Why do men spit on the ground in front of women?
Spitting has always been considered rude and gross thing to do in front of other people (at least where I am from anyways). Do you think the same? It seems like men are the ones that spit whenever they feel like it, regardless in whose presense they are in. Any thoughts or comments are welcomed.
I agree spitting in public is crude and historically there were laws against it some small towns. Having said that I don't believe these men are doing it just because (women) are with or around them. They'd be doing it if they were with other men or even alone. Essentially it's equality in action. He's being his "authentic self".
Naturally if a woman dates a "spitter" she has to decide whether or not if his behavior is a "deal breaker". If it is she needs to move on. Trying to get him to "change" will only lead to frustration on her part and resentment on his part. She would be better off finding a guy who (already is) the kind of man she wants to be with.
My train of thought was he must be around women he doesn't really care to impress or he would be more of a gentlemen. Usually when I see this behavior is when I am walking on the local greenway and they are jogging along and just start spitting.
As a man whose hung out with guys they'll do it whenever the mood strikes and it has nothing to do with who is around. Some guys are just crude by nature! Count your blessings if you've never seen one blow snot from one nostril on the street.
Okay dashing - I am counting my blessings LOL! At least when they spit it goes into the grass and not the asphalt on the Greenway LOL !!
I can't stand that kind of behavior it is rude and so not tolerable. Most men spit and do so without the thought of the other. It makes them feel good when they release their spit. Something that will not change. I have seen men do it and that is not changeable. Their behavior is discouraging.
I agree. Some men have been brought up better than that and some, well...............
