Do you think it is worth it trying to be close to someone when all they do is ignore you?
People change for many reasons toward others. Do you think it is a worth the time and effort to constantly visit others when they have no intentions to stop by at your place?
Not sure why one would want to be close to someone like that.
I definitely don't think it is worth the time and effort. Sometimes one can feel as if you are doing all the doing and the other person does nothing. You find yourself popping in when passing, they never do. Once you start to realize that, move on, good friends are rare but those that are real friends will keep on coming back time and time again.
Some friendships are only for a season.
Clearly if you were the one always initiating contact or visiting someone you'd start to wonder what would happen if you stopped?
How long would it be before they picked up a phone to contact you, email you, or dropped by to visit you?
Oftentimes people will not dump their friends they'll just distance themselves and wait for them to get "the hint". Some people are slower than others when it comes to recognizing a friendship/relationship is over.
"Never love anyone who treats you like you're ordinary."
- Oscar Wilde
This quote would also apply to close friendships as well.
Friends are thoughtful and caring.
No mate their not worth any more effort, instead use the time to find some hobbies passions interests & loves..That's where your'l meet the best friends, & your'l be doing fun things at the time..If the people who you visit don't visit you, don't read anything into it apart from the fact that their people who can't be bothered to visit other people & that's it....What usually happens when you stop visiting those people, is they will eventually come looking/visiting you wondering why you haven't been round lately!lol..However you won't be there, because your'l be out doing something fun. :-)

Do you feel that submitting hubs during a holiday is worth your effort?I've noticed that hubs submitted during a holiday have far less traffic and don't build momentum well even after the holiday is over. What are your thoughts on the subject?
