I think we live in a time where most people confuse infatuation with love. Agree or disagree?
In my experience, most people think that they are in love, when they are, in fact, infatuated. Love, IMO, is a deeper connection that ties you and your lover and enables the both of you to survive any challenge or difficulty life might throw at you. Infatuation is a temporary experience whereby one is taken with a particular aspect of one's personality (and henceforth, 'fall' for a person who they do not know at all). What do you guys think?
Your description of love is one of the best I've ever read.. and yes, I agree that most people mistake infatuation for love. I think that's why people often think they've 'fallen out of love' with someone, when in reality, they're over the infatuation stage.
