Why so many western women are still Christians when the bible endorse violence against women?
E.g. "When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets: then thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not pity her." (Deuteronomy 25:11-12) And so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled. (Titus 2:4-5) all studies shows western world still got highest rate of abuse to women.
People "cherry pick" which scriptures and verses they'll abide by. It's always been that way.
The book of Exodus 35:2 states
"a sabbath of rest to the Lord: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death."
No one is being killed for working Saturdays!
"Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death." (This one is also ignored by most parents).
The irony is Exodus 20:13 (The same book) states earlier:
"Thy shall not kill."

Can you still be a Christian if you've never read all of the Bible? Why or why not?
