I am curious to know what are some tasks you found difficult when planning your engagement party, bridal shower, bachelorette party, wedding day, and/or honeymoon.

I found finding a proper estimate of a budget to be very difficult as some places charge per person and people will either eat more or less than you expected. Some other tricky tasks are usually finding a suitable venue, which is very difficult in smaller towns because your choices are very limited... at least that is how it is here.

Thank you for your feedback! I agree the budget is very hard to estimate when planning. Creating a list with price ranges of what I need and may want helps me try to stay on track. Also, I try to not take too many opinions from others as I must do what I can afford.

Working with my husband to be.
He didn't want anything traditional, and traditional was all I knew.
We made it up as we went, and let others plan many aspects for us.

Non-traditional is great but I have heard so many stories with family members fighting due to not sticking to the norm. I kind of wish they realize processes change from the old days.

        Thanks for sharing!
