Aries Man and Cancer Woman

Updated on March 6, 2011

Aries man and Cancer woman are not the most likely of pairings. And if they were to be voted on as a High School Yearbook couple, they'd be voted most likely to drive each other batty. But not at first. No, at first everything will be peachy and they'll both feel as though they're very compatible. This is unlikely to last for a lengthy period of time, however, because these two are about as fire and water as you can get. I'm not dooming it necessarily, but I'd be impressed if these two got hitched and lived happily ever after. And they might do. But probably not. Read on to find out why.

Aries Man

The Aries male sees himself as Tarzan. And he makes a convincing hero, so it's not a far stretch. When he first spots delicate (read: uber insecure) Cancer woman, he will immediately feel as though she needs to be rescued and he'll set about doing so. He'll snatch her off her feet, carry her through the jungle and up to his tree house. And she'll love every minute of it. Until her insecurities flare up and she starts to think he might not be as into to her as she is to him. Nevermind the fact there aren't any other people round for tens of thousands of miles in the jungle -- she'll still worry because that's the nature of the Cancer woman. Aries man will tolerate it the first few times she starts to display this behavior, but it will, eventually, get on his last nerve and she might find herself cuddling coconuts instead.

Cancer Woman

Cancer woman is all sweet and lovely, but she's equally insecure and not a little neurotic. She's a bit sulky and this can really annoy the Aries man because it feels as though nothing he does is ever good enough for her. It will also make him fear his own virility as a man because he will start to think she wants a different sort of man. And to make matters worse, she doesn't face him head on when he complains or argues with her, she'd rather avoid conflict and arguments altogether. Apart from the passive aggressive comments, that is, which can really tick an Aries (man or woman) off. These two would really need to have good communication styles to keep this relationship in the green.
