Aries Man and Taurus Woman

Updated on March 6, 2011

The Aries man and Taurus woman are a typical case of opposites attract. Initially, anyway. If the stars were in the right places at the time of their respective births, this relationship could work out well and everyone will live happily ever after. However, this is less than likely to be the case for the simple reason that the base instincts of these two individuals are so very different that they are bound to become an issue eventually, and probably sooner than later in most cases. I am not trying to discourage the pair from having a relationship; I'm simply suggesting the go into the relationship with open eyes, because things can go from good to annoying very quickly.

Aries Man

Aries man is a hero. Well, in his own mind, anyway. And perhaps in the mind of others as well -- he can certainly sweep you off your feet if he wants to. He'll even slay your dragons for free. All you need to do in return is worship him 24/7 and things will be swell. It's not that he's arrogant (ok, he can be, but he's equally charming so you'll forgive him this flaw), it's more that he's a closet needist. That's right -- he needs you. He needs you to fluff his self-confidence and ego on a regular basis and if you don't do it he may well pitch a fit. Most women will do it, and do it eagerly because Aries man is just too damned sexy and virile to ignore. But the Taurus woman is one of the few who will get tired of this quickly. She's too practical and earthy to get swept up in his Prince Charming routine day after day. She'll want a bit more security and he'll never be able to get his head around that because, in his mind, living with a dragon slayer is the epitome of such things and she should feel like she's scored big time.

Taurus Woman

Taurus woman is dependable, independent, responsible, down to earth, practical -- are you getting the idea? She's the polar opposite of Aries man, who lives with his head in the clouds most of the time. He's always chasing the next big project or slaying the next big dragon, while Taurus woman is busy trying to plan out a secure future. Oh, that's not to say she won't love Aries man in the bedroom -- he's pretty hard to beat in that department. But unlike Aries (male or female) the Taurus woman can easily separate love and boudoir and will not forgive what she views as irresponsibility just because he can play Romeo like a champ.
