OUR CLOCK represents the last seven years of the "Common Era" (C.E. or A.D. Anno Domini) traditionally reckoned as the era following the conception or birth of Jesus of Nazareth, with C.E. counting the years since the start of this epoch.

THE TIME on the "Prophetic Clock", is shown as "7 minutes 'till Midnight", reflecting the last seven years of this age, which is the point in time that we are rapidly approaching now.

"And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom [Christ the Lord] is coming; go out to meet him!’" (Matthew 25: NKJ)

This of course referring to the seven years of the "Great Tribulation Period", the final end of this age and the start of the next, the coming Kingdom of Christ on Earth for the next 1000 years. The time on the clock will ONLY change when that day finally arrives; until the final minutes start counting down it will remain at (11:53 C.E.).

This IS NOT the "Doomsday Clock" either (at least not for the "saved" believers), but reflects a time for great rejoicing in the next age that is coming and a message of hope and salvation for the rest of the world; all those who have not found the love and grace of the Lord God yet.

Although there may be similarities with all the above "conspiracy theories", we will stand solely on what has actually been reported to date in the traditional news media and firmly on what the Holy Scripture alone describes, not relying on "alternative" or "new age" sources as being entirely credible otherwise. The term "New World Order" (or NWO) is typically defined as evidencing a dramatic change in world political thought and the balance of power. It is primarily associated with the ideological notion of GLOBAL GOVERNANCE in the sense of new collective efforts to identify, understand, or address worldwide problems that go beyond the capacity of individual nation-states to solve. We are now approaching a period of world history where this may soon become a reality as necessitated by international trade, plummeting economic issues, and the prevailing political thought across the globe.

The most common belief is that an advocate of economic reform will emerge and support the globalist agenda of this "New World Order" and this will facilitate the implementation of a bureaucratic collectivist system of trade and commerce (similar to the current European Union). This system will link all of the world's resources and financial centers together for a unified cooperative purpose that will proposedly benefit all of its members.

However, there are some members of the general pubic that see this association with a "New World Order" as being the method for a powerful elitist group to conspire together and eventually control the entire world through an authoritarian one-world government. This would replace sovereign nations and political states with an all-encompassing propaganda that ideologies its establishment as the natural culmination of history's progress. There are significant occurrences in current political agendas and world finance today, that are speculated as having been orchestrated by an unduly influential cabal which operates through many front organizations. Therein lies all the fervor surrounding the current thinking about a "New World Order". Many people in the general public are fully convinced that these powerful elite groups (and secret societies) are moving the nations of the globe toward a one-world governing system".

Worldwide proponents of a "New World Order" are now out in the open with praises of global economic harmony and are advocating the potential for great opportunities in social reform.

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Monday called for cooperation among world states to forge a new world order.

"The conditions we are experiencing today need planning for new orders in the world and (our) cooperation and co-thinking for organizing the conditions," Ahmadinejad told reporters before departing for Istanbul, Turkey to take part in the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA).

Ahmadinejad said that his visit will take place at the invitation of Turkish President Abdullah Gul, and pointed out that he is slated to meet other foreign officials during the visit.

CICA is an inter-governmental security forum in Asia which was initiated by Kazakhstan's then president in 1992 and currently has 18 member states, including Iran, Russia, China, South Korea and Turkey.

The African Union (abbreviated AU in English, and UA in its other official languages) is a union consisting of 53 African states. The only all-African state not in the AU is Morocco. Established on July 9th, 2002, the African Union (AU) was formed as a successor to the Organization of African Unity (OAU). The most important decisions of the AU are made by the Assembly of the African Union, a semi-annual meeting of the heads of state and government of its member states. The AU's secretariat, the African Union Commission, is based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

APEC is a forum for 21 Pacific Rim countries (styled "Member Economies") that seeks to promote free trade and economic cooperation throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Established in 1989 in response to the growing interdependence of Asia-Pacific economies and the advent of regional economic blocs (such as the European Union and the North American Free Trade Area) in other parts of the world, APEC works to raise living standards and education levels through sustainable economic growth and to foster a sense of community and an appreciation of shared interests among Asia-Pacific countries. Members account for approximately 40% of the world's population, approximately 54% of world GDP and about 44% of world trade.

The European Union (EU)- is an economic and political union of 27 member states which are located primarily in Europe. The EU traces its origins from the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC) and the European Economic Community (EEC) formed by six countries in the 1950s. In the intervening years the EU has grown in size by the accession of new member states, and in power by the addition of policy areas to its remittance. The EU operates through a hybrid system of supranational independent institutions and intergovernmentally made decisions negotiated by the member states. The European Parliament is elected every five years by the citizenship of the European Union.

Important institutions of the EU include the European Commission, the Council of the European Union, the European Council, the Court of Justice of the European Union, and the European Central Bank. The EU has developed a single market through a standardized system of laws which apply in all member states including the abolition of passport controls within the Schengen area (Schengen Agreement of twenty-five European countries). It ensures the free movement of people, goods, services, and capital, enacts legislation in justice and home affairs, and maintains common policies on trade, agriculture, fisheries and regional development. A monetary union, the "eurozone", was established in 1999 and is currently composed of seventeen member states that utilize a common currency and exchange known commonly as the "EURO".

NAFTA - The North American Free Trade Agreement or (NAFTA) is an agreement signed by the governments of Canada, Mexico, and the United States, creating a trilateral trade bloc in North America. The agreement came into force on January 1, 1994. It superseded the Canada-United States Free Trade Agreement between the U.S. and Canada. In terms of combined purchasing power parity GDP (long-term equilibrium exchange rates for Gross Domestic Product) of its members, as of 2007 the trade bloc is the largest in the world and second largest by nominal GDP comparison.

The OIC is an international organization with a permanent delegation to the United Nations with 57 member states that also include affiliations with several Muslim Organizations and Islamic Institutions. The Organization attempts to be the collective voice of the Muslim world (Ummah) and attempts to safeguard the interests and ensure the progress and well-being of Muslims. The official languages of the organization are Arabic, English and French. The list of members has doubled since its inception in 1969.

Antisemitism - The OIC attracted a lot of attention at the opening session of the meeting in Putrajaya, Malaysia, on 16 October 2003, where Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad of Malaysia in his speech argued that the Jews control the world: "They invented socialism, communism, human rights and democracy, so that persecuting them would appear to be wrong, so that they can enjoy equal rights with others. With these they have gained control of the most powerful countries and they, this tiny community, have become a world power". He also said that "The Europeans killed six million Jews out of 12 million, but today the Jews rule the world by proxy. They get others to fight and die for them". The speech was very well received by the majority of the delegates in attendance at the conference.

The SCO or "Shanghai Five" grouping was originally created April 26, 1996 with the signing of the Treaty on Deepening Military Trust in Border Regions in Shanghai by the heads of states of Kazakhstan, the People's Republic of China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan. It has since broadened its parameters to include six full members which account for 60% of the land mass of Eurasia and its population is one quarter of the world total. With observer states included, its affiliates account for half of the human race.

At its fifth and watershed summit in the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana, in June 2005, when representatives of India, Iran, Mongolia and Pakistan attended an SCO summit for the first time, the president of the country hosting the summit, Nursultan Nazarbayev, greeted the guests in words that had never before been used in any context: "The leaders of the states sitting at this negotiation table are representatives of half of humanity."

The SCO's membership now includes: North Korea, Mongolia, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar, India, Turkmenistan, Ubekistan, Abkhazin, South Ossetia, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbijan, Belarus, Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba, Libya, Syria, Lebanon, IRAN - SCO Members control 25% of the world's land mass. Plus other "friends" of RUSSIA now also include: Gaza and Hamas, Serbia, Bulgaria, the Hezbollah militant group, IRAQ (non-U.S. partisan factions). The U.S. application for the SCO Group has been rejected since 2005.

By 2007 the SCO had initiated over twenty large-scale projects related to transportation, energy and telecommunications and held regular meetings of security, military, defence, foreign affairs, economic, cultural, banking and other officials from its member states. No multinational organisation with such far-ranging and comprehensive mutual interests and activities has ever existed on this scale before.

The SCO has now established relations with the United Nations, where it is an observer in the General Assembly, the European Union, ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations), the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Organisation of Islamic Conference.

The Union of South American Nations (USAN - Spanish: UNASUR) is a political and economic trade union that integrates two existing intergovernmental customs unions: Mercosur and the Andean Community of Nations. It was established as part of a continuing process to further the South American unilateral integration of its sovereign states. It is governed and run administratively based on the model for the European Union. The UNASUR Constitution and formal treaty were signed on May 23, 2008.

The Bilderberg Group, Bilderberg conference, or Bilderberg Club is an annual, unofficial, invitation-only conference of approximately 140 guests, most of whom are people of influence in the fields of politics, banking, business, the military and media. The names of attendees are made available to the press. The conferences are closed to the public and the media, and no press releases are issued.

The original conference was held at the Hotel de Bilderberg, near Arnhem in the Netherlands, from 29 May to 31 May 1954. It was initiated concerning the growth of anti-Americanism in Western Europe and proposed an international conference at which leaders from European countries and the United States would be brought together with the aim of promoting "atlanticism" (philosophy of cooperation among Western European and North American nations)to foster cooperation on political, economic, and defense issues.

Meetings are organized by a steering committee with two members from each of approximately 18 nations. Historically, attendee lists have been weighted towards bankers, politicians, and directors of large businesses, along with heads of state and prominent politicians from North America and Europe. In past years, board members from many large publicly-traded corporations have attended, including IBM, Xerox, Royal Dutch Shell, Nokia and Daimler as well as leaders from the World Banks and political figures such as fomer U.S. Secretary of State and Nobel Prize laurel, Henry Kissinger for example. He remains a regular participant in meetings of the annual invitation-only Bilderberg Group.

However, because of its secrecy and refusal to issue news releases, the Bilderberg group is frequently accused of political conspiracies. This outlook has been popular on both extremes of the ideological spectrum, even if they disagree on what the group wants to do. Left-wingers accuse the Bilderberg group of conspiring to impose capitalist domination, while some right-wing groups such as the John Birch Society have accused the group of conspiring to impose a world government and planned economy. Many other noteworthy individuals and groups propose similar theories such as political activists Phyllis Schlafly, Lyndon LaRouche; and in August of 2010, Cuban president Fidel Castro even wrote an article for the Cuban Communist Party newspaper Granma, in which he cited Estulin’s 2006 book: "Secrets of the Bilderberg Club", which, as quoted by Castro, describes "sinister cliques and the Bilderberg lobbyists" manipulating the public "to install a world government that knows no borders and is not accountable to anyone but its own self."

On one level, the financial collapse represents a major blow to the standing of the United States. While American political judgments have often proved controversial, the American prescription for a world financial order has generally been unchallenged.

Even the most affluent countries will confront shrinking resources. Each will have to redefine its national priorities. An international order will emerge if a system of compatible priorities comes into being.

The financial and political crises are, in fact, closely related partly because, during the period of economic exuberance, a gap had opened up between the economic and the political organisation of the world. The economic world has been globalised. Its institutions have a global reach and have operated by maxims that assumed a self-regulating global market.

The role of China in a new world order is crucial. A relationship that started on both sides as essentially a strategic design to constrain a common adversary has evolved over the decades into a pillar of the international system.

The Trilateral Commission in Europe - North America - Asian Pacific

The "growing interdependence" that so impressed the founders of the Trilateral Commission in the early 1970s has deepened into "globalization." That interdependence also has ensured that the current financial crisis has been felt in every nation and region. It has fundamentally shaken confidence in the international system as a whole. The Commission sees in these unprecedented events a stronger need for shared thinking and leadership by the Trilateral countries, who (along with the principal international organizations) have been the primary anchors of the wider international system. Doubts about whether and how this primacy will change do not diminish, and, if anything, have intensified the need to take into account the dramatic transformation of the international system.

Who are the central or core perpetrators of globalization and the New World Order? To truly understand globalization you must have a firm grasp on who the real movers and shakers are... and pass by myriads of wannabe big-shots. Members of the elite core are not hard to spot, once you know what to look for.

Every bit of thirty-five years of research indicates that there is a relatively small yet diverse group of global players who have been the planners and instigators behind globalization for many decades. The primary driving force that moves this "clique" is greed; the secondary force is the lust for power. In the case of the academics who are key to globalism, a third force is professional recognition and acceptance (a subtle form of egoism and power.)

It is also important to understand that core globalists have full understanding of their goals, plans and actions. The global elite march in three essential columns: Corporate, Political and Academic.

In general, the goals for globalism are created by Corporate. Academic then provides studies and white papers that justify Corporate's goals. Political sells Academic's arguments to the public and if necessary, changes laws to accommodate and facilitate Corporate in getting what it wants.

The old saying, "Birds of a feather, flock together" is appropriate for the perpetrators of globalism. In modern history, the pinnacle of global drivers has been the Trilateral Commission, founded in 1973 by David Rockefeller and Zbigniew Brzezinski. Rockefeller and Brzezinski's strategy was nefarious, yet brilliant and this group is credited with the given rise to the globalization we see today.

Prior to the founding of the Trilateral Commission, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) was the most significant body of global-minded elitists in the United States. As far back as 1959, the CFR was explicit about a need for world government: "The U.S. must strive to build a new international order... including states labeling themselves as 'socialist'... to maintain and gradually increase the authority of the United Nations."

The site for the United Nations headquarters in New York was originally donated by the Rockefeller family, and the CFR world architects worked for many years to use the U.N. as a means to develop an image of world order. Indeed, the CFR membership roster has been, and still is a Who's Who of the elitist eastern establishment.

As far back as the late 1970s, Jeremiah Novak in the Christian Science Monitor (February 7, 1977) stated: "Today a new crop of economists, working in an organization known as the Trilateral Commission, is on the verge of creating a new international economic system."

The pernicious influence of the Commission and its dominance of the U.S. Executive branch remains unchallenged to this day. Obviously, Corporate's influence over their Political, Academic and Press partnerships has been very successful.

Institute for International Economics (IIE) - The "Peterson" Institute for International Economics (IIE) (Peterson Institute), formerly the Institute for International Economics, is a private, non-profit, and nonpartisan think tank focused on international economics, based in Washington, D.C. It is yet another example of a key organization in which one might identify other core members of the global elite. There are 12 other Trilateral Commission members (including David Rockefeller) on IIE's board of directors, having established Trilateral influence (if not total domination).

As was declared in the beginning of this analysis, the stampede to globalism is conducted by a small group of individuals with aspirations for global dominance.

In general, they are driven by lust for money and power. They have clearly made an end-run around the American people in order to achieve personal goals that, in many cases, are diametrically opposed to U.S. interests. If the American people fully understood the magnitude of the deception and power-grab, they would immediately and totally repudiate these individuals and their self-serving global schemes.

Jekyll Island Club

The Jekyll Island Club was a private club located on Jekyll Island, on the Georgia coastline. It was founded in 1886 when members of an incorporated hunting and recreational club purchased the island for $125,000 from John Eugune du Bignon. The original design of the Jekyll Island Clubhouse, with its easily identifiable turret, was completed in January 1888. The club thrived through the early 20th century with an exclusive limited membership consisting of many of the world's wealthiest families at the time, most notably the Morgans, Rockefellers, and Vanderbilts.

Jekyll Island was the location of a meeting in November 1910 in which draft legislation was written to create the U.S. Federal Reserve. Following the Panic of 1907, banking reform became a major issue in the United States. Senator Nelson Aldrich (Rep.-RI), chairman of the National Monetary Commission, went to Europe for almost two years to study that continent's banking systems. Upon his return, he brought together many of the country's leading financiers to Jekyll Island to discuss monetary policy and the banking system. This event would be the precursor for the creation of the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, which instituted the modern Federal Reserve system.

The financial leaders and politicians that attended this meeting represented one-sixth of the world's combined total wealth at the time. The outcome of their planned proposals would be the careful manipulation of government policy to ensure the formation of this Federal Reserve system. In December of 1913 (when many politicians had already left Washington D.C. for the holidays) the bill was proposed by a minimum number of Representatives necessary (who had stayed behind) to even hold the Congressional meeting, and the next day the Senate barely ratified the Act with similar numbers of their members present in attendance. This created the first Central Bank for the U.S. monetary system, along with the initial Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta (a privately owned corporate entity that IS NOT part of the U.S. government).

The Federal Reserve was thus created with the intention of becoming the largest centrally controlled money trust in the world. Some years later, with the advent of the Banking Act of 1933, the government demanded the collection of all gold coins, bullion, and gold certificates by Federal Reserve banks. This was the point in history where the U.S. officially defaulted on all of its debt, allowing gold reserves to be transferred into the hands of select "creditors" from this money trust, which has likewise operated in this same capacity ever since.

An interesting Fact: On the reverse side of the U.S one-dollar "Federal Reserve Note" since 1935, the Latin phrase "novus ordo seclorum", has appeared with the Great Seal of the United States, which translates meaning "New Order of the Ages".

Based on the above information, we begin to see a history unfolding that certain private corporations and entities are in control of the U.S. currency. With this in mind, having access to "insider" information when it comes to the global financial market would be of great benefit to people who are invested in various areas of world commerce. What if you could have had this same information prior to the collapse of the U.S. housing bubble, which peaked in 2006. This caused the values of securities tied to U.S. real estate pricing to plummet and thus resulted in damaging financial institutions globally. "Someone" could have made a fortune on such a scenario (and they did).

The financial crisis that occurred through 2007–2010, fostered a number of events with devastating effects on the international financial communities. We have witnessed a global crisis resulting in a number of bank failures in Europe and sharp reductions in the value of stock equities and commodities worldwide. Interestingly enough at one point, both the US Dollar and Japanese Yen soared against other major currencies, particularly the British Pound and Canadian Dollar, as world financiers otherwise were seeking safe havens for their investments. In a dramatic meeting on September 18, 2008, Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke met with key legislators and proposed the $700 billion emergency bailout. Bernanke reportedly told them: "If we don't do this, we may not have an economy on Monday." Later, the deputy governor of the Bank of England, Charles Bean, suggested that "This is a once in a lifetime crisis, and possibly the largest financial crisis of its kind in human history."

Is it possible that this entire ordeal (including the "bailout") was orchestrated for profit?

Congressional Representative Dennis Kucinich stated, "There’s 400 economists and three Nobel Prize-winning economists who have said, 'Whoa, wait a minute! What are you doing? Why are you rushing this?' You know, this thing doesn't smell right, frankly."

"This whole government has become nothing more than a big machine that transfers the wealth upwards with our tax policies, our energy policies, with this fiscal policies, with the war. All the wealth of the country goes from the pockets of the people into the hands of a few."

"It seems to me there’s a possibility that this crisis has a little bit of manufacture to it... Isn’t it interesting that the only plan that we get... is one that gives a complete bailout to Wall Street."

The world financial system has been teetering on the "brink of systemic meltdown", as noted by the head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in October of 2008. Many of the world's stock exchanges have experienced the worst declines in their history. By March 6, 2009 the DJIA had dropped 54% from its peak on October 9, 2007, a span of 17 months.

What if all of these warning signs and economic indicators have been steered along by an elite group of globalists in order for them to more easily promote the idea to the general public, that there is a need for a "new economic system" and organized "world order", that will ultimately solve all the problems of the world financial community and create a more effective system for international commerce?

The Carlyle Group's investments are focused on East Asia, Europe and North America.

The Carlyle Group's list of current and former directors, along with their history of notable advisors, reads like a who's who of wealthy families and political patriarchs; such as: George Bush (both H.W. and W.), Frank C. Carlucci, Lou Gerstner, John Major, Frank McKenna, Fidel V. Ramos, Greg Rosenbaum, David Rubenstein, and Olivier Sarkozy, just to name a few.

In March 2008, Carlyle Capital Corporation (established in August 2006 for the purpose of making investments in U.S. mortgage-backed securities) defaulted on about US$ 16.6 billion of debt as the global credit crunch brought about by the subprime mortgage crisis. The Guernsey-based affiliate of Carlyle was very heavily leveraged, up to 32 times by some accounts. In response to the forced liquidation of mortgage-backed assets caused by the Carlyle margin calls and other similar developments in credit markets, on March 11, 2008, the Federal Reserve gave Wall Street's primary dealers the right to post mortgaged-back securities as collateral for loans of up to $200 billion in higher-grade, U.S. government-backed securities. On March 12, 2008, BBC News Online reported that "instead of underpinning the mortgage-backed securities market, it seems to have had the opposite effect, giving lenders an opportunity to dump the risky assets.

Barack Obama was groomed for the presidency by key members of the Trilateral Commission. Most notably, it was Zbigniew Brzezinski, co-founder of the Trilateral Commission with David Rockefeller in 1973, who was Obama's principal foreign policy advisor. For anyone who doubts the Commission's continuing influence on Obama, consider that he has already appointed no less than eleven members of the Commission to top-level and key positions in his Administration.

Since 1973, the Commission has met regularly in plenary sessions to discuss policy position papers developed by its members. Policies are debated in order to achieve consensuses. Respective members return to their own countries to implement policies consistent with those consensuses.

Since the administration of Jimmy Carter, Trilaterals held these massively influential positions:

• Six out of eight World Bank presidents, including the current appointee, Robert Zoelick
• Eight out of ten U.S. Trade Representatives
• President and/or Vice-President of every elected administration (except for Obama/Biden)
• Seven out of twelve Secretaries of State
• Nine out of twelve Secretaries of Defense

Endgame is at hand

For the Trilateral crowd, the game is about over. The recent reemergence of original members Henry Kissinger, Zbigniew Brzezinski, Brent Scowcroft and Paul Volker serves to reinforce the conclusion that the New International Economic Order is near.

We invite you to review the following information even if you are not an advocate of Biblical scripture or a firm believer in the truth about the existence of God and His dealings in the modern world. Based on what we have shown so far in this article, there is ample evidence to show that certain things are currently occurring on an international global scale.

We intend to shed some light on these matters and display to everyone their relevance in Biblical prophecy as being an accurate account of our world's affairs. The rest of what you are about to read, will attempt to show a correlation between the various world organizations and actual historical events listed above, with that of prophetic events as listed in Biblical scripture. With the exception of modern-day events that have already come to pass, which match Holy Scripture as having been fulfilled (such as the formation of the State of Israel in 1948), most of what we are going to examine in the remainder of this article would still be considered "hypothetical" and proposed theory. We cannot of course confirm any of this conjecture until physical proof arises otherwise. We likewise do not wish concretely imply or claim that any of the above organizations are in fact affiliated with what we are about to relate, other than the similarities to what is written in scriptural prophecy does allow us to draw certain conclusions based on current events and world affairs today. All we can do is suggest to people that they be vigilant and prepared for ANY eventual outcome that might come from the observation of this information.

APOCALYPSE = (Greek: apokálypsis; Definition: "Lifting of the Veil" or "Revelation")

". . .The surface of the covering cast over all people, And the veil that is spread over all nations." (Isaiah 25:7 NKJ)

Now lets look at these various scenarios that are unfolding on the world stage and see how they actually relate to Biblical prophecy. Scripture already tells us that a "veil of deception" has been created by the "god of this age" and is blinding the eyes of many people in the world.

"But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them." (2 Corinthians 4:3-4 NKJV)

"And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." (Revelation 12:9 KJV)

Basically, if we go through all of the prophetic writings, it can also be summarized that we have drawn very near to the event referred to as the "Great Tribulation" (Matthew 24:15,21,29; Mark 13:14,19,24; Revelation 2:22, 7:9,14). There are key indicators in the Holy Scripture that give us certain benchmarks to look for.

In order for the final phase of this age to begin (the "Great Tribulation"), a system of global management must first be established. To begin with, it will be revolutionary new way of doing things that had not been attempted before. A newly devised "world order" system that will create "great opportunity" (as stated by Henry Kissinger).

"Which shall be different from all other kingdoms... And shall intend to change times and law." (Daniel 7:23,25 NIV)

"He shall enter peaceably, even into the richest places of the province; and he shall do what his fathers have not done, nor his forefathers: he shall disperse among them the plunder, spoil, and riches..." (Daniel 11:24 NIV)

Next, let us then understand a little more about the intended purpose of this "New World Order" as the system that will be implemented to control the world. The "antichrist" referred to in the Bible is basically someone (or a group of people) that are key adversaries (the "secular" world of unbelievers) to the belief system and plans of the one true God. It is not that the general populace of the world is truly "evil" at heart per se, they have just become afflicted by the environment by which we all live in. Therefore by default, the general public falls under the sphere of influence created by the true perpetrators of this system in our society, as a matter of ignorance if by no other choice. These are the people that need our help more than anything else, to shed light onto these matters so that they may be "spiritually saved".

The world is just full of sin (greed and lust for wealth, power and control) and has been corrupted by these vices which go directly against the Lord's design for His world and people. The true "evil" components of this world system are the few elite groups that are orchestrating the entire plan solely for their own selfish benefit.

"For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naïve people." (Romans 16:18 NIV)

The leaders of these groups are the ones who are obsessed with financial gain and authoritative power. Therefore the "antichrist" is not just one person initially, but is an entire "antichrist system" comprised of many nations and leaders. This "New World Order" system will thus be established in the world for the purpose of manipulating and controlling all the nations and people beneath them.

"Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now MANY ANTICHRISTS HAVE COME. This is how we know it is the last hour."
(1 John 2:18 NIV)

[ GLOBAL CONTROL and WORLD-WIDE AUTHORITY ] "...And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation." (Revelation 13:7 NIV)

The Book of Revelation (the "Apocalypse") Chapter 13, first refers to the "Beast from the Sea" as having several features and is composed of multiple elements. This "Beast" that is being described is actually a group of entities or an "antichrist system", which will rise and position themselves as leaders in the world.

"The beast [ "antichrist system" ] I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority." (Revelation 13:2 NIV)

The representation of this first "Beast from the Sea" (Revelation 13:1) is not an actual creature of course, but a symbolic reference of the intrinsic nature belonging to this group of entities and its organization. "Then the angel said to me, 'The waters you saw... are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages.'" (Revelation 17:15 NIV)

For example, the following associations may also be determined by their use in scripture:

• Dragon = Satan or his agency (also the "Serpent" or the "Devil")
• Beast = kingdom; government; or political power (Daniel 7:17, 23; Book of Revelation)
• Leopard = a powerful dominion (i.e. also Greece) (Daniel 7:6; Revelation 13:2)
• Bear = a destructive power (i.e. also Medo-Persia) (Proverbs 28:15; Daniel 7:5)
• Lion = a powerful king (i.e. also Babylon) (Jer.50:43-44; Dan.7:4,17,23; Rev.5:4-9)
• Horn = king or kingdom (Daniel 7:24;8:5,21,22; Zech.1:18,19; Rev.13:1; 17:3,12)

There are various proposed theories based on Biblical scripture and other historical events that attempt to discern what these entities are, who they might be, and also forecast where they might originate from.

"He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on his horns..." (Revelation 13:1 NIV)

One idea based on more recent events, is that the seven (7) "heads" represent a number of "kingdoms" or "groups of people" that will come together for this common purpose. The ten (10) "horns" or "crowns" represent the number of leaders that will be in charge of this unified and combined group.

We do not know for certain, but there will be some unification process that will bring these world-based organizations together to form a combined "NEW WORLD ORDER". It could be comprised of these seven (7) "kingdoms" (groups of nations) with an executive administration of ten (10) "crowns" (leaders) made up from both political and corporate leadership (any combination thereof). It would be reasonable to conclude at this point that the economic problems facing the world today will be the catalyst that brings this all together.

We also do not know for a fact that the above example (Seven World Economic Zones) will become this entity, but we do know (based on the prophecy) that it will be a similar form of construction and organization. Also to note however, that it is very convenient for these organizations to already be in place when such a scenario for a "World Order" is being seriously considered by the nations of the world. Likewise, the existing corporate group entities we have been reviewing in this article, are in very advantageous positions to exert a large degree of influence in the affairs of an economic conglomeration of this scope and scale. All of these various indicators are becoming easier to see on a daily basis with current world events.

"Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery... but many shall join with them by intrigue." (Daniel 11:32,34 NIV)

In addition to the above, one leader will ultimately be placed in charge of this entire "World Order" for example, something similar to the "Secretary General" of the United Nations but with absolute governing power. This one person will be the actual "antichrist" or the authoritative one-world leader that finally takes the stage.

"The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king. He belongs to the seven and is going to his destruction [ Final Judgment ]. The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour [a "short" time] will receive authority as kings along with the beast. They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast." (Revelation 17:11-13 NIV)

"...and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world." (1 John 4:3 NKJ)

As with many prophetic writings in the Holy Scripture, they will often hold "hidden truths", containing "midrashic" layers of depth (Hebrew: "PRDS") or being two-fold and have duality in meaning. Likewise, another prevailing theory pertaining to these same descriptive elements in the Book of Revelation prophecy described earlier, is the reference to this "New World Order" being similar to a revised version of, or "New" Roman Empire. The prophetic revelations that Daniel received (Chapter 2) while he was helping to interpret the dreams of the Babylonian King, Nebuchadnezzar II (605–562 B.C.), also give us an indication of this scenario. These dreams depicted a huge statue-like image standing on top of the world and made of various materials (gold, silver, bronze, iron and clay). The prophet Daniel tells the king what God's interpretation is, that it stands for the rise and fall of various world powers both then and in the future, starting with Nebuchadnezzar's own Babylon as the "golden head" of the statue depicted in the dream. Each element (from head to foot) covers a larger area of the statue than the previous element indicating that each successive empire would be greater or more grand than its predecessor.

The final part of this dream depicts a huge stone hurling through space that crashes into this great statue on the Earth and destroys it. This is believed to represent the return of the one true church (the "rock" - i.e. like Peter) and arrival of Jesus Christ who destroys the kingdoms of the world who oppose Him, so that He can then establish the Kingdom of the Lord on Earth. The rest of the prophetic truth about this statue could not have even been determined at the time of Daniel, until the ages of mankind unfolded and presented themselves to us. It has only been since modern times that the full implications of this particular interpretation of the Daniel and Revelation prophecies could be concluded.

The elements in the statue and their descriptions are as follows:

GOLD (Head) = the "Golden Age" - the Chaldean Dynasty (634-562 B.C.) of Babylon the Great including King Nebuchadnezzar II.

SILVER (upper Chest and two Arms) = the "Silver Age" - Achaemenid Empire (550-330 B.C.); combining the Medians and Persians into one empire under Cyrus the Great.

BRONZE (Abdomen, Waist and Hips) = the "Bronze Age" - Greco-Macedonian Empire (336-323 B.C.); reaching its height under Alexander the Great, until its collapse into civil war in 168 B.C.

IRON (two Legs) = indicating the "Iron Age" - Greater Roman Empire (44 B.C.-476 A.D.); combining both the western and eastern realms of Roman conquest, starting the line of "Caesars" and lasting until the collapse of the Western Empire into what would become the future European Nations.

And finally (the Feet) of "Iron and Clay" = the "MODERN AGE" - which has now been interpreted to represent "Steel and Concrete" from the modern era and the "New" Roman Empire. It has likewise been interpreted that the ten (10) toes of the feet are also a prophetic similarity to the same ten "crowns" of the "Beast" in Revelations. Also, another comparison has been made of the ten toes: as indicating either a combination of (5) "Western" and (5) "Eastern" future world powers, or merely a total of (10) kingdoms (nations or powers) that will jointly rule this "New" Roman Empire.

Later prophetic revelations of Daniel (Chapter 7) go into this with more details. He describes the same "beast" elements as mentioned in the Apostle John's account (Revelation 13) as the Lion (Babylon), the Bear (Persia), the Leopard (Greece), and finally the beast with "iron teeth" (Rome); which the vision continues (Chapter 8) with more accounts of the "end times" and then finally an interpretation delivered by the Angel Gabriel (Daniel 8:15-26).

"...but he said to me, 'Understand, son of man, that the vision refers to the time of the end.'" (Daniel 8:17 NKJ)

With this similar theory on the interpretation of both the Daniel and Revelation prophecies, the "ten horns" seem to also reflect the nations of people that were left to occupy Western Europe after the breakup of the original Western Empire of Rome (around 395–476 A.D.), such as the Visigoths, Goths, Vandals, Franks, Alans, Suevi, Anglos, Saxons, Burgundians, Lombards, etc.

"After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns." (Daniel 7:7 NKJ)

Also important to note here; is that these same nations of people from the collapse of the Western Roman Empire, would centuries later over the course of history, evolve into the current leading countries and political powers in Western Europe. These same nations would also become the original founding members and first nation states to join the European Union (Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Ireland, the United Kingdom and Greece). Thus giving us the correlation to the "New" Roman Empire as referred to in this interpretation of the prophecy.

I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words." (Daniel 7:7-8 NKJ)

Additionally, as the picture unfolds further, the "little horn" that rises up would equate to the rise in power of the "antichrist" in the "New World Order", as coming from the midst of this "New Rome" (European Union), as the progenitor of the coming global system of government.

"And in the latter time of their kingdom, When the transgressors have reached their fullness, A king shall arise, Having fierce features, Who understands sinister schemes." (Daniel 8:23 NKJ)

Regardless of who all of these "antichrists" are or where they might originate from in their rise to global power and domination, is not as significantly important as what their overall goals are for the world at large. This final matter is what will directly affect the lives of the world's inhabitants ("we the people"). These people are whom we should be most concerned with, in terms of their redemption by the grace of God, while there is still time left for them to become enlightened and "saved". A point in time will come where it will be too late to help these individuals, before they are forced to adhere to this false system of belief or succumb to death otherwise.

This is the last element we will list in reference to the above events, being the seven year peace treaty which shall be established in the Middle East with the State of Israel. As mentioned earlier, this will also coincide with the establishment of the "New World Order".

It is likewise agreed by most theologians that the period of time for the "Great Tribulation" will last for a total of seven years ("one week of years" from Daniel). It will be divided in half, into two (42 months-1,260 days) 3.5 year periods (Revelation 11:2-3; Revelation 11:9; Revelation 13:5), the first half being a time of peace as the "antichrist system" further establishes itself worldwide and its position as the global authority ("New World Order"). In the world news, we should watch for an upcoming "Peace Plan", "Treaty," or "Resolution" (a "covenant") which will soon be agreed to by the people and Nation of Israel; possibly as a trade-off equaling "land for peace", which may also include the building of a new Holy Temple in Jerusalem for Israel.

"Then he [ the coming "Antichrist" ] shall confirm a covenant [ peace plan or treaty ] with many [ in Israel ] for one week [ a week of years = 7 years ] But in the middle of the week [ exactly 3.5 years ] He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering [ at the Holy Temple in Jerusalem - indicating it has been rebuilt ]..." (Daniel 9:27 NKJ)

The second half of this seven year period will start with this "peace plan or treaty" being annulled or broken by this coming world leader. This will start a time of persecution when the "Antichrist" is revealed for what he truly is.

"Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door."
(Matthew 24:33)

"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come." (2 Timothy 3:1 NKJ)

"Assuredly, I say to you, THIS GENERATION will by no means pass away till all these things take place." (Matthew 24:34)

Therefore, a one-world system of global management and the establishment of a peace treaty in the Middle East (with Israel), are the two remaining indicators that mark the beginning of the "Great Tribulation" period of human history at the end of this age. We do not necessarily know which of these events will occur first or what elements will allow them to come together to fulfill prophecy. It is evident however that this scenario could rapidly unfold at any time.

Even though everything we have discussed and shown thus far seems to depict a tragic and fateful end for our world, that is actually NOT THE CASE! The state of humanity's existence does not end in chaos or complete destruction at this time. Nor will these events leave the whole world in a panicked state of confusion, always to be frustrated in futile attempts trying to achieve a Utopian existence. The "Great Tribulation" period is only for a few short years and is merely a transitional period at end of an age. A NEW AGE IS COMING immediately thereafter!

"...SEE THAT YOU ARE NOT TROUBLED; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet." (Matthew 24:6 NKJ)

"All these are the beginning of birth pains [sorrows]." (Matthew 24:8 NIV-KJV)

This is probably the most accurate representation of the entire "Great Tribulation" event. "Birth pains" are very discomforting and often quite painful. A new birth involves "labor" which is an extremely strenuous and exhausting process (ask any woman who has endured this). The end result however, is "relief" from this labor and suffering because a "new life" is then born!

That is exactly what will transpire in this world. We are in the final chapter of an old and worn out age of civilization. A grand and glorious new age lies directly ahead for those of us that endure and have accepted the Lord God.

In the final part of the prophetic dream to King Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel 2:34-35), a gigantic stone is seen as falling from the heavens, striking and destroying the statue of the image. The statue completely dissolves into dust but a great mountain rises in its place that fills the whole Earth. The Lord further interprets this vision for the prophet (Daniel 2:44-45) and likewise we can now draw a similar conclusion of what it represents. Basically, the entire system of mankind's government and religion on the Earth will be brought to an abrupt end, as Christ the "messiah" returns to claim His Kingdom. What lies beyond the "Great Tribulation" is the birth of a new and glorious society in the world, a true utopia with Jesus Christ the "messiah" as its King. This is the "blessed hope" for all of mankind to rejoice in! The problems currently facing our world today will be once and forever resolved.

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF ALL THESE PROPHECIES

Therefore, these sometimes frightening words of prophecy are really a harbinger of hope to those who are searching for God today. It is through our belief that Christ died for our sins (John 3:16) and faith in His second coming (1 Thessalonians 4:14-18), that we are all "saved" and will enter into the coming Kingdom of Heaven along with Him.

"For the grace of God has appeared that offers SALVATION TO ALL PEOPLE. It teaches us to say 'No' to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope - the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ." (Titus 2:11–13 NIV)

"He who testifies to these things says, 'Surely I am coming quickly.' Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen." (Revelation 22:20-21)
