Your question may either be worded incorrectly or you worded it that way on purpose to allow a certain answer, anyway heres my two cents. With the present wording of your question, yes 2 and 2 can equal 5, but not as Sesshoumaru2st suggested. Putting the & sign next to the first 2 would mean that 2and 1.5 would have to be multiplied. And 2(1.5) does not equal 5. However if you were to somehow change the value of 2 to 2.5 then the sum could be 5. The answer would probably look like this:
2 + 2 = 5 when 2 = 2.5
As for a non mathematical answer to your question goes, that is more difficult. It may be possible that everything can be twisted (with the help of science or...magical powers, whoooo) into something else, but it would probably take a long time for us to figure that out as are existence on this planet is still very new and our intelligence is not yet that advanced. Now the question is what does my two cents and your two cents equal?
