What does freedom really mean to you ?

What lengths would you go to if your freedom was threatened, could you kill an intruder for example?
Would you cross the road to help a stranger if he/she were being attacked?

Well its nice to know that apapthy flourishs throughout the world when it comes to helping another who was in danger!  Clearly, a percentage of the world's population are 'wasted space' in regard to choosing to put others in danger; but being a spectator to the event; as far as I'm concerned; is providing the 'wasted space' an endorsement of support for the action.

Being Apathic says: "I agee completely, but my public image & courage dictates that I must be seen as if I don't, so I'll pass the buck, be a witness, or ring the police!"  Shame on you!

Like many; I could never Not Help someone in danger: In that way I honour a person who saved my life. By saying; "I Don't agree, we've had enough of this BS that provides Apathy an opportunity to flourish," we are allowing Empathy to be established.

Empathy leads to positive change and growth.  Apathetic Bleating and Non Action merely serves to retard that change: Perhaps Apathy is also a declaration of fear of positive change.

Freedom is a state of mind. Protect your mind at any expense: Hell Yes... With Empathy.

What does freedom mean to me. Freedom is the ability to give of myself without any string attached.  It's the gift of knowing that I am no longer under bondage but that I have been redeemed from my sins.  Freedom for me means I know longer have to live in fear, fear of rejection, self-destruction, pain or dissapointment.  Freedom allows me to love the unlovable and forgive the unforgiveable.  Because Jesus has set me free and whom Christ sets free is free indeed." (John 8:36).

In the first-place i wrote a big detailed answer to this because you cannot answer this question in just a few words. But i decided that i should make an article about this.
The other question wich works well with what you asked is: "Are we really free?" - and the answer is simple. it depends on what freedom means for each of us. teo questions that goes perfect one with another. And as a sort answer il just say what i think about our freedom:
"Just beacuse you put your bird in a bigger cage, doesn't mean that you gaved it the freedom". Same thing with us, the humans.

Freedom gives you the ability to be who you are, who you want to be irrespective of what anyone thinks or believes.. freedom is such an open word and can relate to anything.. the freedom to love, the freedom of speech, the freedom of being able to live your life on your terms. Freedom is exhilarating.

Freedom is knowing my governmental officials are not wasting my money and putting my children and their children in horrendous debt.  Freedom for me is having prayer in school again.  Freedom for me is not having governmental agencies like Plan Parenthood that allow our children to abort their babies without our consents and behind our backs.  Freedom for me is being able to eat food without poison in it that government has allowed big food monopoly to do.  Freedom for me is not having governmental officials and representatives living high on the hog with mine and yours hard earned money.  I can't be who I am with a government taking everything away from our Father's plan. http://hubpages.com/hub/Powers-Intertwi … s-The-Land  Dear Lord, Thank You that You will bring on a day of reckoning for these governmental practices before they make us a desolate third world.  Amen
