Do you spit blood if you put sacramental bread in your mouth and then spit it out?

Warning: never try this at the church.

No. Contrary to the teaching of some groups, communion elements do not actually become flesh and blood.
That teaching reflects a poor hermeneutic.

No.  But why would you want to spit it out anyway?!  (Besides, the bread is representative of Christ's body not His blood - the wine represents the blood.)

why would it, its just a dry cracker.   jesus example is a meal with bread and wine, not a dry cracker and grape juice,  and it is  figurative. the teaching that they actually become  His blood and flesh is false

Don't spit in church-yuck! And why would you want to anyway?  I realize communion wafers aren't the tastiest things in the world, but they are just stale crackers. Nope, the only way I could see this happening would be if you bit your tongue or lip while taking communion, how that would happen I can't imagine.  Now, if you were having some sort of mental reservations about communion that upset you to the point you felt the urge to spit I would suggest some prayerful reflection on the the whole Eucharist thing.  My wife still has trouble with "this is my blood, this is my body" so she chooses not to take communion. This doesn't make her a bad person or any less a good Christian, she just can't get past the mental image. I have several Hindi friends that find the concept grotesque as well.  Several of my Baptist/fundamentalist friends think the Catholic Eucharist misses the point and commune with Jesus at every meal. "Whenever food or drink passes their lips," as they're so fond of saying, and they may have something there.  To each his own.
