Were you raised in a Christian home?

Were both of your parents Christians, or just one. Was one of your parents uncommited either way?

I was raised in a Christian environment. As far as my mother.. it depended on what stage of her life she was in. She would either be hot or very cold when it came to her faith. But, my Grandparents made sure I was in church every Sunday. Thank God!!

My Father was a good Christian man. My Mother I don't think was but it was not talked about. We were sent to church on buses, with others or we walked alone. I don't think my Mother wanted my Father to go it would have caused a fight.

No he did not go, I could never figure that out. My Mother controlled him, the money all but the children. God had others looking out for our salvation, neighbors family and friends saw to it we got there. The church bus picked us up too.

I was.  But I was the most religious one in the family.  The rest of my family does not really go to church or believe in it the way I do.  I used to get everyone up on Sunday and make sure we went to church.  So therefore, I was NOT brainwashed by my family or church.  I believe because I want to believe.

Even though we went alone, were sent to get us out of my Mom's hair, 3 of 4 children are true Christians. One doen't say, and doesn't act it. I am thankful either way. My Dad saved us, the best way he could.

My family belonged to a church but we were never truly big time, hardcore, Ned Flanders style, there-every-Sunday-no-matter-what types. That still holds true today.

I took my children as much as I could, we praised in the home when we couldn't.

I was raised in a home where my father claimed Christianity. He was even a pastor for a while. He was very strict in his religious beliefs. Women were to be submissive to their husband, prayer should be done before every meal, and he read from the bible often. However this same man was a pedophile, robber, and rapist so none of his Christan babble meant much.

Seems he was hiding behind Christianity…sigh
