Ok, here is a serious issue. Is truth and morality really needed in life? I have nothing to do with God, with this issue. Please share serious answers. And please don't mix up this issue with religion. Thanks.
These concepts are necessary to ensure stability and foster progress within society. For example, I used to be friends with a legitimate sociopath who has no intrinsic concept whatsoever of right and wrong, and by arbitrarily collecting unemployment and food stamps while smoking weed, being addicted to sex and browsing the Internet all day, I have to say that he's being more unproductive and, indeed, detrimental to society as a whole sans morality and truth.
