Does Love Exist Explain, Discuss . . . Have Fun.
To contribute answering the questions these guidelines must be followed
Step 1: In the beginning God . . . Genesis 1:1 – Old Testament / Torah
Step 2: Substitute Something for God
Step 3: The first verse or declaration now reads In the beginning Something.
Step 4: The word God, god, or gods are not allowed and is banished in this thread.
Step 5: In the beginning was the Word . . . John 1:1 – New Testament
Step 6: Substitute Reason for the word – Word
Step 5: The first verse or declaration now reads In the beginning Reason.
Repeat Step 4: The word God, god, or gods are not allowed and is banished in this thread.
Step 6: . . . because God is Love. 1John 4:8
Step 7: The first verse or declaration now reads In the beginning Love.
Repeat Step 4: The word God, god, or gods are not allowed and is banished in this thread.
Notation A: All theological debate now stops. All religious debate now stops. All debates between the material and immaterial now stops. The soul exists only as consciousness – nothing more and nothing less. Everything that exists is material. Life does exist in the forms and formats it exists today and we experience it.
Notation B: Logic says Something, Reason, and Love are synonymous and each was present In the Beginning . . . Those terms are equivocal.
Notation C: This thread is the beginning . . ..
Notation D: Presume for discussion there is not any original author for this thread. There are only contributing authors following next. Each is something like a unique individual. Each has the capacity and capability of Reason. Each has the capacity and capability of Love.
Notation E: For this discussion the only sense either physical or intuitive for a ‘Holy’ scripture is the written declarations and guidelines shared above for this discussion. The only governmental rules are those and those of HubPages TOS for the Forums. Those are the higher powers for this thread. Everything else is self-ruling – individual morals and group ethics.
Need not have gone through this process. The answer is in the Bible, 1 John 4:8 which says, "God is love".
Respectfully, God does not exist of least in this thread per the guidelines. In the beginning is 'Love, Something, and/or Reason'. Is Love reasonably something? Or, is Love something reasonable? If so, how? Explain.
Example: A person loves their spouse. What does that mean with the guidelines presented.
Example: A parent loves their child. What does that mean with the guidelines presented.
Example: A person loves football. What does that man with the guidelines presented.
With the guidelines does Love exist? How?

I have been noticing that Theists are usually stuck with the burdan of proof when it comes to their beliefs. This thread is about asking Atheists what they believe respectfully. It is for theists to get a better understanding of the views of Atheists. Remember the questions being asked are from...
