The world is really full of hypocrites. They are everywhere - no matter where you go. There are scientists, artists, business people, government officials, politicians, doctors, people who work and run the media, even philosophers - and all sorts 'key' people who play an important role in shaping the world, who are simply hypocrites when they play to be 'doing good for the world', but who are actually being vampires to the general good of the planet.
It doesn't take much labor to pass words through one's teeth: words of mighty wisdom and kindness for all creatures. But to feel it, and to implement it - that's another story.
Can compassion be taught? -This is my quest right now. And this is also one of the central themes of my forthcoming talk at the 'Dalai Lama Center for Peace', at Vancouver.
It seems to me: all keys to solving all the problems of the world - lie at the heart of educating young people in a proper way. Like good gardeners, we need to provide now the right conditions for these young seeds of the 21st Century, so that they can flourish into a happy world of tomorrow, which we can all be proud of.
[I have my personal website coming soon. It will provide a space for artists and poets and all sorts of creative people to share their work and communicate with each other so that we can build a better world together, for ourselves and future generations. Will have a portal to earn a few bucks too! Will keep you informed as the work develops. Stay tuned. It'll be the 'philosophical Facebook' for good people everywhere!]
Hope you don't mind me asking but - all self professed "spiritual" people such as yourself seem to be trying to make money from it - how does that work exactly?
It works exactly this way: http://hubpages.com/forum/post/2632802
Good luck fleecing the gullible then.
That type of attitude generally comes out from someone who apparently had a bad luck.
And that kind of attitude generally comes from charlatans with an eye on the money.
And just so you know - forum posts specifically to promote yourself are usually discouraged.
The Forums are for discussion, not self-promotional link-posting. We encourage you to avoid posting promotional or irrelevant links, be they to Hubs or external sites in which you have a vested interest. The two places where we do encourage you to post links to your Hubs are in the HubChallenges section and the Improving Your Hub section.

Sorry you don't understand. How frustrating for you. Go ahead and promote your website then. Good luck making some money from it.
It is my compassionate nature. What can I say?
Thank you for reading the 'opening post' of this thread.
Of course I read it. "Hypocrite." I like that word.
