Many pagan religious groups are possibly using crystal meth as a way to "Be Enlightened" into the spiritual realm. This connection is exposed in an article called The Truth about Crystal Meth, Withcraft and Demons. I wonder what you think... is there really a connection and do you have a personal story of experience with crystal meth, witchcraft and demons?

Went to your hub and got scared!
    Crystal meth is very terrible.
    Didn't Hitler's team invent it?
I would agree that it opens people up to demonic forces
by causing a disconnect between soul and mind.
Its destruction is horrendous and your article is appropriate.

As most pagan religions, and perhaps particularly Wicca, place a high value on nature it would be highly doubtful that the "possibly" you mention is actually true.  It would seem more likely that Christians or other Deity oriented religions would use such practices.

Mind destroying drugs have a long history of religious with perhaps the best known being the use of "magic mushrooms" in the northern Americas.  Witches, however, have not been associated with the practice, nor with calling up demons.  The Christian notion of witchcraft is about as far from the truth as it is possible to get.

Absolutely! But, it's been pretty much acceptable to blame certain groups for all that's evil in the world, rather than looking in a mirror and addressing one's own flaws, faults etc. on an individual level.  Some things will never change sadly.

You are so correct. One must look to themselves to find the reason, the problem and finally the solution. It's all within, but like you say, sadly people choose to point the finger and blame others for their problems rather than considering the problem might be themselves... Thank you for the comment

Sounds like you've discovered a winning formula for crafting hub titles: "The Truth About [drug], [fringe religion], and Demons". Let me try...

The Truth About Bath Salts, Zoroastrianism, and Demons

The Truth About Krokodil, Quakerism, and Demons

    Fun!
