   Scripture says "And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh" Luke 21:20
   "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh" Luke 21:28
   
   However Christ was speaking of those in Judea not Israel when he said "Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto" Luke 21:21
   
   "And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled" Luke 21:24
   
   Vengeance is not on Jerusalem. It is trodden because of all the armies of the Gentiles. Sound Familiar?

   A literal translation of scripture indicates that Israel will be center stage. But what ideology will pit two armies against each other in a horrific supernatural clash called Armageddon? That is not known to us. And it isn't supposed to be. Archaeologists continue to uncover new evidence that supports Biblical scripture. And daily news events provide pieces of information that provide a glimpse into the future. Consider, that millions of people are migrating into developed countries (one world nation); with globalization cultures ultimately clash creating human rights issues (one law); currencies are devaluing so a single, unified currency under a world central bank is being proposed; entire nations (seven at last count) are facing bankruptcy; the North American Union is likely within 20 years for economic reasons; languages are merging; the RFID chip (implanted in your skin) is being tested; cameras on every street corner; satellites that track your every move. The list is endless. And does anyone really believe the United States can pay off trillions of dollars in debt even in 300 years? The only logical conclusion is to merge everything into one. And this despite the fact it was written that this would happen 2,000 years ago!!
      We are not supposed to know the details of the End Times. We are to trust in God and His wisdom. In the meantime, each of us -- including world leaders -- are merely pawns in a much larger game of spiritual warfare. I would suggest, in all seriousness, that each of us get an easy chair and some table snacks and enjoy the ride.
       I fully believe that everything that happens -- every decision made and every nuance of thought -- is governed by a larger power that will ultimately lead to Armageddon. By the way, is Obama the Antichrist? No, of course not. But his mantra of "change," his smooth delivery, and global multitudes caressing his every word provided a scary glimpse into the power of the real Antichrist. These are scary times. But pray to God for answers and they will come.

   No man knows the specifics of the end of life. The Lord will come as a thief in the night! I would say China or a catastrophe from space is more likely to end life than I would say Israel being the source of end times. It is very easy for people to get wrapped up in relegious brainwashing than to get wrapped up in common sense & logic!
