Why do people insist that everything must have a beginning; and for that matter an end?
it's to do with the dualistic nature of mankind, good - evil, pretty - ugly, old - young....
Can you conceive of something that has always existed, that there has never been a time when it hasn't existed, and there will never be a time when it won't exist? If so, then you will have learned the trick of abandoning duality, and will deserve the 3 bows; of course, to the rest of dualistic mankind you will never be able to prove your success:-)
Maybe because life is finite, there is a definite end to things in nature and a cycle of life.
