I'm not sure what you mean by 'other' Christians but I'll try to answer what I think you mean.

I think it is basically due to the Old v New testaments and the Law v the New Covenant through Jesus Christ. The OT serves to teach us that man cannot follow the rules required by God and we are, as such, all sinners. That is where Jesus comes in: As sinners, the only way we can be reconciled is through accepting Him as our savior so that he can take away our sins. That does not mean that we are now free to break whatever rules we feel like, rather we still need to strive to do as God desires.

    Hi Benny,
That is a great subject..!   I can only give my own opinion.   You have to remember everyone is different and won't do what you do..in trying to live godly.   Once you accept that..and know there are many with blinders on...and you can only pray for them...and we have to constantly check ourselves on what others are doing..we are not to judge..or grieve over other decisions...Pray that God continues to guide you and them on the right path..  God only recently revealed to me the importance of observing the Sabbath..so I do my best to observe it and don't mind sharing my knowledge about it..if they ask me...but basically either someone will believe what you are saying or not...doesnt mean they have the discipline to observe it faithful....so we have to pray for others, because by the grace of God...that could be me...think I may write on the subject...Blessings to U...
