Should people have the right to hurt their own bodies, as long it isn't hurting anyone else?
This question relates to drugs like tobacco smoking. Assume the person in question has no family or people who rely on them to stay healthy.
People will do it heedless of laws, or even of love. Therefore, I'm not sure that there is any real method of deterring the acts other than that being somehow imposed. So, technically people do have the right to do whatever they want—legal issues notwithstanding.
Of course. Hurting yourself isn't evil or unethical, just stupid.
