It feels less like "speaking" and more like moving, warming, and flowing. There are so many ways this happens, and I wish I was aware of more of them.
I interpret events, the wind, and even dreams to be God talking to me. He did make all those things, so why not? He's certainly smart, capable, and present enough to pull that off.
I also hear Him in my prayers. And, even if that's my intra-personal-dialog and/or wishful thinking, God still designed these events to unfold this way—even if He did instill an illusion of free will via temporal circumstance.
Anyway, I think God speaks in love.
I think God talk to us through nature and through his creations when ever I deeply observe things it feels like God is talking to me
In parables, dreams. Through people...through the bible. In questions through the Holy Spirit.
God has used many avenues to speak to me but mostly he has given me answers through dreams.
