We are made in the image of the triune God. We have three parts, a body, soul, and spirit. One day, our bodies will die. However, our soul and spirit will not. If we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior, we will go to heaven. If we haven't, we will go to hell. There will then come a day when all the dead will miraculously rise and be caught up to heaven, reunited with our souls and spirits. Our bodies will be restored. All sickness will be gone. It is a great mystery, and I know many don't believe, but someday, all will be in agreement.
