Gosh, I hope so! Religion and politics do not belong in the same room. They are very different things both seeking to have power over the people. Maybe we can eliminate the one that makes no sense and doesn't help with the infrastructure that we live in.

Faith is the sister of Hope and Islam is the promise of Surrender of Worldly thing. It's only the Father of destruction that threatens the tides of any belief system: malice, greed and EGO. Mankind is the only thing that interprets and makes dogma for itself to survive. Listen to the silence of Truth in any situation and your answers will glide forward effortlessly.

The Decline of mankind is because of mankind.

Yes. Faith in the Christian religion declined substantially during the wars of religion in Europe. I have a feeling that there will be a similar process in the middle east. Obviously, something in the religious traditions of Islam just didn't work, and when something doesn't work, it eventually culminates in reform.

I worry that a somewhat stable country like Egypt could become like Iran. Remember when the Shah of Iran was removed. Islamic extremist took over the country and set back human rights by 500 years.

Let us hope that moderate Muslims will thrive in new democracies and the radical ones won't be able to find caves to hide in.

has faith in christianity dwindled even though we have so many christians who do horrible things?

i believe it doesnt matter what faith the world finds popular-it matters what YOU yourself have faith in.  how will it affect you if Islam declines? will it effect your faith? because that is all that matters

no it will increase. people love violence, which is one of the reasons that the muslim religion has increased in the last 20 years. by following this religion, people can justify their behavior and also it gives the weak something they percieve as strong to follow.
though islam is suppose to be about peace, it is more about complete and utter control and the sheep love that kind of discipline.
